This piecework scarf is constructed from twenty textile fragments, taken from five deconstructed vintage kimonos. I cut all the pieces on the bias: creating fringed fibers at the seams. The outer edges of the scarf are all selvedge from the narrow Japanese looms.

These pieces are a mix of cotton and cotton and silk fabrics. The dimensions are approximately 22" x 21.5."  Any discoloration or damage is due to the vintage nature of the fabric.
