I made these piecework momohiki pants using striped fabrics from vintage Japanese kimono that I disassembled. The front right leg contains a heavily worn collar section that had already been repaired once before I used it to assemble the pants, when I had to reinforce it again along the way. All of the fabrics are cotton, and they are dyed with plant indigo.

Meant to rolled up, the bottoms of the pant legs are unfinished and measure 38" from the waistband. Selvedges as well as fragments of heavy cotton threads used to hand sew the original seams are visible in many places.
