I combined a winter weight silk kimono fabric with a summer weight cotton kimono fabric to make these Japanese style wrap pants. I love the the combination of lavender and brown.  I also love the interplay of stenciled, circular motifs with woven stripe patterns. A few pieces of indigo stripe cotton fabrics are also incorporated.

Selvedge fabric edges as well as remnants of hand-stitched former seams are clearly visible throughout. My patchwork and seaming mostly follow vertical drape lines on the legs and crotch.
