This is the first quilted coat I have made. I used a deadstock linen quilt as the lining and foundation for a collage of various vintage Japanese textiles. Whether solid, striped, or stenciled, the cottons are dyed with plant indigo. The large graphics come from vintage happi festival coats. There are two ties in the front as well as two interior pockets made with more stenciled, vintage happi coat fabrics.

The length is 32," the width is 28," and the sleeves are 29" The dress form has a 40" chest. Sizing is equivalent to a XXL.
